Crunchy Cheese Chicken Fingers
1 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch (2cm) strips
1 1/2 cups Cheerios breakfast cereal
2 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp minced garlic
1 egg
2 tbsp milk or water
1.Preheat oven to 400oF (200oC) Baking sheet, sprayed with vegetable spray.
2. Put Cheerios, Parmesan, chili powder, basil, oregano and garlic in food processor; process until Cheerios are fine crumbs. Place on plate.
3. In small bowl, whisk together egg and milk. Dip each chicken strip in egg wash, then roll in crumbs; place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until browned and chicken is cooked through.
